About the event
This 90-minute introduction to slow stitching is inspired by Sashiko — a traditional Japanese practice rooted in repair, repetition, and attention.
The workshop is centered around learning a simple gesture and allowing it to repeat, stitch after stitch, until a pattern begins to emerge.
Working on a small fabric panel, participants will learn how to transfer a pattern and gradually build it through hand stitching. No previous experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
Everyone will leave with their own stitched piece: something quiet, imperfect, and made by hand.
Limited Space, please RSVP.
