Oliverea Valley: Basket Weaving Workshop

Learn to weave a basket from locally-foraged plant material (cattail leaves). This course is designed to get beginners weaving with an abundant, renewable material. You will learn several fundamental basketry techniques, and leave the class with a completed basket. This course is sutable for ages 10+. 

$40 per person for Eastwind Hotel Guests (NON REFUNDABLE)

INSTRUCTOR BIO  Renee is a Catskills-based chef and designer who specializes in working with wild plants and fungi. She works in many media, builds cob ovens, bakes bread and pastries and obsesses over finding and eating wild mushrooms. www.reneemakes.com
