Bring Your Group to the Catskills Mountains: Retreats at Eastwind Hotels
Take a group out of the usual rooms and up into the mountains, and something shifts. People talk more. The conversation everyone has been circling finally happens over dinner. The colleague you have emailed for two years turns out to be funny. That shift is the whole case for group retreats, and it is why we love hosting them.
We have welcomed team offsites, wellness groups, and families who take over an entire property. Each of our two Catskills hotels, Eastwind Oliverea Valley and Eastwind Windham, gathers a group in its own way. Here is what a few days look like at each.
Eastwind Oliverea Valley
A Meeting Room with a View of Nature

Oliverea Valley is for the group that needs to hear itself think. The property sits deep in the valley with mountains on every side and Esopus Creek running alongside it. There is not much else around, and that is exactly the point.
Groups of up to 45 meet in the Glasshouse, a 20 by 40 foot room built almost entirely of glass, with the valley on every side of you. We set it up for meetings and wellness sessions by day, and for private dinners once the light goes.
Mornings open with group yoga and breakfast before anyone reaches for a laptop. When the laptops close, the group drifts toward heat and water: two saunas, an infrared room, a seasonal cold plunge, and a pool we keep warm all year.
Dinner is at Dandelion, our restaurant, where the menu moves with the seasons. At night your group scatters across 12 hotel rooms and 14 freestanding wood cabins.

Eastwind Windham
Where the Evenings Run Long

Windham is for the group that wants the day to end somewhere good. Our 33 room and cabin property sits beneath Windham Mountain, a basecamp for the Catskills with room to spread out once the meeting is over.
Groups of up to 16 meet in our Scandinavian-inspired meeting room, full of natural light and looking out at the mountain. Groups of up to 30 gather at Dandies, our Eastwind Windham eatery, with the same mountain in the windows.
Most of the group finds its way into one of our two saunas before dinner. A few find their way to the campfire after it and stay there longer than they meant to.
Small groups dine together at the BunkHouse Lounge. Larger groups settle in at Dandies, where slow-smoked barbecue and a good cocktail pull everyone to the same table as afternoon turns to evening.

The Afternoon Off the Agenda
We will connect your group with local guides, artists, and instructors who bring what they know of the Catskills into your schedule. Your team can spend an afternoon making candles, foraging with a guide, mixing botanical cocktails, or learning to tie flies before trying them on the water. Evenings can close with a tarot card reading or watercolor painting workshop.
A Good Season for a Year-End Gathering
The end of the year has a way of sneaking up, and it is one of our favorite times to have a group in house. A year-end dinner, a team quietly thanking itself, a small crew hiding out from the season for a few days. All of it fits.
